Merry Christmas!
As many of you know Leslie and I have been working on getting our ministry up and running. This past year we had many opportunities to minister in several churches around our area. We did a 5 week bible study where I shared on the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit and Leslie shared her testimony of healing in Dunlap, TN. Most recently I have taught on several occasions on Wednesday nights at Cold Springs First Baptist Church in Pikeville. During all of this time I have finished my first book and have been updating our web site, www.e4ministries.org.
In early November we submitted our 501c(3) application to the IRS! We hope it won’t be long before it gets back to us. Any donation to our ministry in 2015 will be counted as a charitable contribution and deductible on your 2015 tax returns.
In the mean time I have been working with a publishing company for the current booklet I just finished and for a new booklet I am working on now. Since I would like to get the messages the Lord has given me out more effectively I think it is best to work with a company that knows what it is doing!
The contract we are signing with Tate Publishing, LLC is for 2 books. Leslie and I have reviewed the contract several times and we feel this is the way to go. We do not have to put out thousands of dollars to buy cases of books that will sit around in hopes they will sell. Tate Publishing will do all the work and marketing for us.
Right now we are hoping our friends and family will consider what God is doing in our lives and help support our ministry and message to the Body of Christ. We are looking to raise the cost to Tate Publishing by the end of the year so we can implement the contract as quickly as possible.
I do have a job and work very hard. Leslie is very supportive of our family needs as well. The money we are trying to raise is not directly for us, it is for the work God has called us to do. We do not use any contributions for personal use. As we see fit we contribute to other causes in our area as well. E4 Ministries is a non-profit religious organization. Any contribution is tax deductible.
